About Amanda
Amanda Amos is a compassionate person who strives to create brave spaces for all she comes into connection with. She has a passion for infant and early childhood mental health with 20 years experience rooted in early education, consulting, and mental health services.
Amanda was born and raised in Minneapolis. As a child born to teen parents and impacted by the incarceration system she knows first hand the importance of Early Intervention.
Amanda has her BA in Family Studies with a minor in Child Advocacy from Winona State University and her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
She holds the Family Specialist Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health®
and is an Endorsed Reflective Supervisor.
Amanda works as the Infant and Early Childhood Assistant Director at Minnesota Association of Children’s Mental Health.
Amanda’s most rewarding (and at times toughest) job of all is raising her four children. She believes we all do the best we can with what we know and have access to. That is why she works hard to support those that are supporting societies youngest members!
